Our Story
HOW IT BEGAN
fixing hope began with a simple belief: no animal should suffer simply because basic veterinary care is beyond a family's reach.
In communities in the Philippines where we have personal ties, we saw firsthand how the cost of spaying and neutering could be out of reach for many families. The result was a cycle that was difficult to ignore—unwanted litters, abandoned animals, and dogs and cats living without the veterinary care they needed.

From Concern to Action
What began as a desire to help soon became hands-on action. fixing hope began organizing free spay/neuter events with the support of local veterinary professionals and community volunteers, bringing essential veterinary services directly to communities where many families could not otherwise afford them.
As our work grew, we expanded our partnerships and services. Our more recent events have been carried out with veterinarians and volunteers from the Provincial Veterinary Office of Negros Occidental, providing spay/neuter surgery along with vaccinations, deworming, medications and other basic veterinary care.
